Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro review

There’s very little to complain about when it comes to the Mi 9T Pro; its killer design and screen are paired with excellent across-the-board specs. The fact it clings onto the headphone jack will please many, and while there’s no wireless charging, water resistance or stereo sound, given the...

Premium design, Great battery life, Flagship specs

No waterproofing, UI won’t be for everyone, Mono speaker

Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro review

The smartphone you see before you represents everything good about reading tech news today. It’s very easy to get wrapped up in believing the best phones only come from the most visible brands – Samsung, Apple, etcetera – but that’s not always true.

Great industrial design, Decent cameras, Full frontside display, Headphone jack and NFC, Low cost for high value

Not officially available in USA, No water/dust-proofing, Mono speaker

Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro review

Xiaomi took a flagship and a mid-range smartphone, combined them and got the Mi 9T Pro. And that's not a bad thing.

Camera, Portrait Mode rivals the Pixel, There's a headphone jack!, Incredible battery life, Much cheaper than it should be

Not available in the US, No waterproofing, No wireless charging, MIUI 10 Dark Mode still has some issues

Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro review

No Xiaomi Mi 9 killer. The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, like its sister model Mi 9T, has a motorised pop-up front-facing camera to aid in the pursuit of the highest possible screen-to-body ratio.

borderless design, accurate GPS, decent OLED panel, 3.5 mm jack, good cameras, good system performance, fast in-display fingerprint sensor

only Widevine L3-certified (Redmi K20 Pro), slow Wi-Fi, poor LTE coverage (Redmi K20 Pro), low maximum manual brightness, 27 W charger not included in the box

Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro review

The Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro is a flagship-class handset with a great screen, good battery life, dual SIM support, an in-screen fingerprint reader and a 3.5mm headset jack. The triple rear camera setup is very capable, and while the pop-out selfie camera's mechanism might not appeal to everybody, there's...

6.39-inch Super AMOLED screen, Minimal bezels and no front camera notch, Good battery life, 3.5mm headset jack, Competitive price

Average-quality mono speaker, Slippery backplate, Pop-up selfie camera could prove a point of failure, No IP rating for dust/water resistance

Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro review

Xiaomi has done it yet again - the maker has launched another market disruptor. Sure, it isn't called a Pocophone, but it doesn't matter really. The Redmi K20 Pro, or Mi 9T Pro, is a spiritual successor to a rare smartphone blend known as flagship killers, a series that OnePlus may have conceived,...

Excellent notch-free AMOLED screen, Ultrafast under-display fingerprint reader, Attractive design with Gorilla Glass protection, Top-notch battery life, fast charging, Flagship Snapdragon 855 chip and performance, Class-leading camera experience, great quality all day long, Rich video recording...

Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro review

The Pocophone F1 launched with a clear plan, to match the big boys on performance whilst undercutting them hugely on price. The Mi 9T brought high-end features to a device that looks and feels like a flagship, but it lacked true performance.

Incredible value, Great OLED display, Big battery, Fast performance

No IP67/8, No microSD support

Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro review

Xiaomi has beaten OnePlus at its own game with the Mi 9T Pro – and for £100 less than the OnePlus 7. While the Xiaomi lacks stereo speakers and packs a clunkier UI, it betters the OnePlus with a triple camera, headphone jack and a notch-free screen. If you’re looking for an affordable flagship and don’t need wireless charging or waterproofing, the Mi 9T Pro just leapfrogged to the front of our recommended list.

Excellent value; Great battery life; Has a headphone port;

No stereo speakers; No wireless charging; No water resistance;
