We had purchased this cooktop on 1st March, then only 8 days later we experienced the very traumatic experience of having the glass base of the cooktop literally explode in our faces due to (we think) the heat coming from the large burner on the left hand side of the cooktop. Clearly a design fault so stay away from this product. Nor is the service from Electrolux much better, only agreeing to send a serviceman a week later to evaluate the damage and possibly replace the glass top. What a joke. It exploded once because its not designed to take the high heat from the third burner, but the best they can do is replace the glass so it can explode all over us one more. Nor at all happy.
