Bought this because we got a little over excited when we purchased our new x-box... We were fast running out of space. Most of the recommendations point to Seagate expansion drives, however, I am a WD user from way back. Did a bit of a search and came up with this one. Good colours (Match the X-BOX theme) and super simple to deploy. I would highly recommend over Seagate... Any day of the week.

Works great downloading games is much faster and I can actually have more than 3 games one my Xbox now

I am new to most tech stuff but this was very easy to set up. The only thing I had a hard time with was on how to disconnect it properly but I just watched some YouTube videos to figure it out. And another nice thing about this is that I can play older games off it without moving anything on to the Xbox, I can play right off the drive

I’ve had the 5TB model for a few months now, and kept it in great condition. Only used it on one Xbox, didn’t take it out very often. And it randomly just quit working on me today (9/29/21). The internals are spinning, the light is on everything appears to be working, but it’s not being recognized by any devices whether they are my Xbox, my girlfriend’s Xbox, either computer etc… it just up and quit working.

When I checked the info section, it said it was compatible with the Series X/S. I should have known better because of course it's not. I feel like I was mislead into buying this, but I can use it on my old Xbox One I suppose...
