Plugged in and worked straight away. Very quite in use, amazingly fast in operation. I am getting speeds 10-12 times faster than my old USB drive. Managed 150 Gb of back ups in 40-45 minutes. Lead is a little short, could do with a 3 foot cable would be only suggestion.

I use this hard drive as my time machine to backup both my macbooks, works great, some troubleshooting required to set up with my newest macbook (2017 model) but I found instructions easily enough online

This little power house has plenty of storage for making movies, storing photo's or any other large files! The casing is pretty good and compact, easy to pack in whatever you may use to carry things.

Good solid portable drive, I expect to get a few years of life out of this as my Windows8 ToGo drive.

Got it in the festival sale and I am a happy satisfied customer. Has been working well and there have been no complaints till now. Ordering and delivery were smooth. Packaging was good.

First impressions The Western Digital brand is one that I have had some past experience with. I have bought a few of their hard drives and also had hard drives already fitted to laptops I have bought. I have had good and bad experiences, though the bad ones were due to the poor spec of old units.

We've used many of these as external backup drives, and they're always dependable. Easy to set up, and the latest version is much slimmer than the older ones, which is nice.
