This product was extremely east to install and worked like a charm. I had it installed in about five minutes and then had the MacBook setup within 2 hours. I bought this for my MacBook Pro 13 inch 2012.

Now this is the "Other" how long will it last The orig was the same drive a WD Black and it lasted 4 years so not the best longevity but ok.

Even though its thinner than the orig drive the bracket took care of that and it lined up exactly; Loaded windows 7 then the drivers and it works fast and no issues

FAST AND EASY TO INSTALL

This company does not stand by its 5 year warranty if you end up with an OEM hard drive...There is no way to know if your drive is an OEM or not just by looking on the sticker on the hard drive. It just says "Warranty will be void if seal, label or cover is removed or damaged".

I have a dedicated music recording laptop and was due for a hard drive upgrade. The laptop originally came pre-installed with Win 7. Once I received notification for a free upgrade to Win 10, I decided that a faster and newer drive was the way to go.

Best drive good one

An excellent drive, used to replace a failing unit on a Mac Book Pro. Very happy with performance and near silent operation. An excellent product, highly recommended.

I usually buy hitachi drives for reliability or toshiba for price, but this drive has very good speed and is quiet. I have some reservations about WD reliability based on statistics compared to other vendors, but have had good luck with them personally.
