Vanguard Spirit ED 8x36

The Spirit ED series produced by Vanguard consists currently of four pair of binoculars with the following parameters: 8x36, 8x42, 10x42 and 10x50. All of them are rather small but very handy roof-prism devices featuring Schmidt-Pechan prisms.

Don't often do reviews but felt I had to with these. If like my wife and I you wear glasses, then these are superb. Even if you don't wear glasses they are superb. The eye piece can be adjusted in for spectacle eye relief or out for normal eye relief.

I needed one binocular for a long time due to my professional purpose. So I purchased this binocular. This binocular comes with a high resolution images and it can be used for long-time without any tiring. It is fully water-proof.

Ive been a bird-watcher for 55 yrs and currently live on a greenbelt with an amazing variety of field, perching, buteos and water birds. We are also on the Pacific flyway, so we get migratories thruout the year as well. Ive put up with $19.95 quality binos since i was 9.
