I bought 2 sets of these last week and they’re amazing. Build quality is good (compared to cheap ones I have had in the past) rear camera cable reaches the rear of my commodore wagon (just). I also hooked up the rear camera to my reverse lights (not needed to power it as it gets that from the front unit) but if you do attach the red wire it turns the hole front camera into a reverse camera when in reverse. Very handy. To sum up great footage, easy install, overall very happy with my purchase and would buy again. Also the wifi worked well on my Iphone AAA++++

It’s hard to know what the quality is like on this unit as when I used the wireless function to download footage to my phone it took 10 minutes to transfer a 3 minute file then would not play on my phone. When I looked at the App Store I see many others have the same problem. I like the way the Uniden uses a 3M sticker to adhere to the windscreen rather than a suction cap. The display is small and you can choose from a video feed or speed display, although this is red so can only be read at night, not in sunlight. The controls are not intuitive, and there are a few settings that need to be changed, such as the default power off after one minute, meaning the unit turns itself off at every traffic light unless you change the setting.

I’ve had 3 different brands over the last 5 years and this is the best by far. Easy to use and quality is awesome. It’s better value for money than other high quality devices.
