This is a good switch, certainly for the price. However, missing from the features (and if youre like me, you didnt notice) is that this switch will not power Ubiquitis Passive POE (24v) devices, such as their older APs or current-gen Nanostation.
Manufacturer: Ubiquiti

Intergrates great into my UniFi ecosystem. Runs the new ring POE camera great and UniFi AP's without a hitch. Wish there was a way to go completely dark on all of the LED's on it but I understand the reasoning for not enabling that feature (people power cycling a device when they think it is dead).
I've only just set up this switch but so far it's worked flawlessly. I've used larger Ubiquiti PoE switches at a site for several years without a hiccup. When I decided to upgrade my home network this was the only brand I considered due to the ease of administration and setup along with reliability.
I have many of these now installed over a few different sites.. great product and a good price too. Highly recommended for anyone needing a decent managed switch providing PoE. This, providing 24v passive PoE is also perfect for running Ubiquiti's CCTV system too.
Such a nice little switch with features that rivals big names like Cisco but at a price anyone can afford. I'm using this with the Ubiquity EdgeRouter X sfp and i just love it. I highly recommend this for it's ease of operation on configuration.
Bought mine early 2017. Normally a lover of UniFi products, but stay away from this switch. Mine was lightly loaded with 3 security cameras, unit would over heat and drop POE on all ports. Many many other people experiencing the same problems, just check the forums. https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Routing-Switching/UniFi-Switch-16-POE-150W-Overheat/td-p/2227548/page/18 https://community.ubnt.com/t5/UniFi-Routing-Switching/USW-16-POW-150W-dropping-POE-but-not-overheating/td-p/2311094/page/5
I love Unifi gear, and this switch is no different Easy to setup and configure through Unifi controller Unifi gear just works
Possibly overkill for home, but gives me the flexibility (along with the Unifi Gateway) to configure the different components of my home LAN how I want it. Plenty of PoE to run VoIP, CCTV and AP's. I've adopted this to a controller offsite which makes configuration easy.
These are excellent switches. Very smart and easy to install and to maintain through the UniFi framework.
second property i have used the system for. Easy to set up and reliable.
