Would i recommend it to others Depends what they're using it for. But probably not. It would be fine as an off hand stick when running in a dual stick flight/space/mech sim. Your off hand usually isn't as precise as your main hand and is often likely to use a bit more force.

Got it as a BD present from my wife. It feels great. It's a clear improvement over my old X52 pro, even if it looks a bit cheaper. The throttle however could have been a bit more smooth.

The gimbal itself is amazing. The X and Y axis are very precise and have an incredibly tiny deadzone. However, the twist axis doesn't use a hall effect sensor and it started jittering within a few months. Now it doesn't yaw left and the throttle slider makes the yaw axis move.

What a huge disappointment this purchase was. I had been looking forward to playing Aces High 3 and spent a full day trying to get the pedals, throttle and joystick to work. I can't explain it but it just wouldn't go with my computer (Asus I7 8 core, 16 mb, GTX Geforce 960).

Throttle is very smooth in its travel, and the sheer number of mappable buttons & toggle switches are amazing. The joystick however leaves a little to be desired – Out of the box there was jitter in the roll and pitch axis, requiring quite a bit of time adjusting the deadzone to eliminate it. The thrustmaster “TARGET” software is somewhat difficult to use, and would continuously misidentify my cpu cooler water pump, instead of to the joystick when trying to map custom button features and adjust the deadzone calibration and expo curves. Would also have been nice to have a few more buttons/toggles on the joystick itself instead of on the base. However for this price point, it's hard to complain. Both the throttle and stick feel solid, and have a nice weight to them so they don't slide around all over your desk. Solid 3.5/5

Switches could be a bit better as far as build quality, they all work brilliantly but feel a little meh. Still all considered for the price it is brilliant.

The precision of control is excellent. The ability to set up for left hand is awesome (I use joystick in left hand and Logitech G602 mouse in right hand). I bought 2. To use with a new game coming out called Star Citizen. They are extremely accurate, good solid responsive feel without being heavy. Extremely easy to set left/right hand versions. They are a real joy to use.

Amazing product, comfortable and durable. I used the X-56 rhino's and they were horrible in comparison to this puppy the prices should be reversed. Highly recommended as your best choice for flight controls.
