The Evil Within hands-on preview: This horror game's more graphic than suspenseful
It's dark in here. The controller is a bit sweaty in my hands, though only from heat. I'm aware every time the door to the room opens and shuts. I'm aware the headphones are a bit overloud to compensate. I'm aware that I'm a bit hungry. I'm distinctly aware of not being afraid.

The Evil Within: First Play preview
There's not much that's new about The Evil Within . If you've played Resident Evil , Silent Hill or The Last Of Us you'll be at home here, and if you loved those games then from what we've seen you'll love this too. Although 'love' is perhaps the wrong word.

The Evil Within
Despite letting some of its most compelling aspects die off, The Evil Within is still worth a shot for bringing some unique ideas in the first place, and giving us a new way to think about survival horror.
Pros:
- A compelling and visually powerful world
- Unravels an engaging mystery
- Offers a new take on the survival horror genre
Cons:
- Forced and sometimes finicky combat
- Enemies and sequences that feel like filler
- Dropped plots

30 fps locker and "movies black stripe" for better playing? Really? It isn funny. This **** is so bad as the first version of Dark Souls on pc. I try to play with K+M and result? Terrible...Moving the cursor is the same as using analog on a contoller. This game on pc i so bad.
