Easy to use and good quality for the price

The reason I brought the Tascam recorder as I had one before it is a nice and compact and it is ideal for what I need it for,it is also good because I can record in wav music files which is the main reason I brought my last one.Also the price of it was very good also so I am glad I have a new one.

I've only just had this for a couple of weeks but it's good at recording and has great playback. Very happy with this.

Intending to use this to record lectures with, so haven't used much yet, operation is fairly straight forward, plenty of you tube videos on how to set it up for which ever use you intend to use it for.

As soon as it came out of the box i was dissapointed. Have had a lot of experience with TASCAM, reel to reel and digital field units but what I was holding is a cheapo Chinese plastic recorder. Having said that, the sound ability is a different story. Some amp noise on record but anything above the background noise floor comes out true to life so proximity effect in normal record is OK with the built in mics. The plastic cover over the MICROSD card slot might not last long with lots of opening and closing so transfer files using the micro B USB port. All in all, a basic atmos recorder
