I've been in IT for over 15yrs. This router was easy to setup, though I think all of home routers are easy. Keep in mind, whenever purchasing new equipment, the firmware is old. Always upgrade to the newest firmware. I'm using this router for a basic home router, no VPN or advanced functions.

Its easy to setup and have good wifi network range.

Overall I'm very disappointed with this product and would not recommend this to anyone. The Wifi signal is very spotty and all of my devices have trouble connecting on a regular basis. My internet connection is solid when connected via Ethernet cable but it's a total crapshoot when using Wifi.

I wanted to like this router and the wired hub works excellent. The wireless portion, however, is very unreliable. The problems start when the unit overheats, and this router gets HOT. They should have made the case metal to act as a heat sink.

Quality of signal dips quite often does not pick up peak transfer rates as stated will probably get a new router soon and invest a little bit more money.

Our incoming broadband connection is in an upstairs bedroom, so downstairs wifi had always been an issue. I connected this to my router using powerlink adaptors and now I have a lovely strong wifi network where once it was weak. Highly recommended if you need to extend wifi coverage.

I don't know too much about wireless routers., Our last one was messing up and kept disconnecting ( not the same brand ) but this one to replace it and haven't had a problem since. I've had it for about a month. Very happy with it overall

I tried configuring this with a bit of fear as I was not a confident guy handling IT stuff. But this was so easy. Just connect the Ethernet cable, type the IP (numerics only) in the browser page and just feed in the user name and password in the WAN set up page.

Overall: I am happy with the device and I think it is a great smartphone and people should really buy it rather than buying a high end smartphone like Samsung or some others which offer similar features for high prices. If you are on minimal budget 10k - 15k then go for this.
