Just a dumb switch. Plug-and-play. Not much to say except that I use it to extend the number of hardwire ports on my home router. Most residential routers have 2 or 4 ports available, if any (wifi routers sometimes have none).

Just what I needed. Ethernet runs straight from TP link box into this and splits to 2 pcs fine, and hasn't seemed to affect speeds. Great price too
