Ordered this from Bt Shop, it arrived within the 4 days as promise, the box had a dent in it, but luckily the router was undamaged. I upgraded from a Netgear DGN3700v1 because the QOS was useless, the Tp-Link Archer C7 AC 1750router is really great because you can control the download speeds as well...

I'm really happy with this router

I'm really happy with this router. Tons of features like bandwidth control really eliminates one person streaming movies from hogging all the bandwidth. I've had no issues with ping and having the wifi reach upstairs. Note: this router has 2 wifi settings, 5 ghz and 2.4 ghz.

Maybe it's the house?

I get 100MB cable coming into the house (actually it was testing at 107 and 108MB/Sec). Once I connected the TP-Link Archer C8, the fastest I could get was 28-29 MB/Sec... and I'm in a room almost directly below the router.

"Brilliant"

Replaced our old (less powerful) router with this one. Awesome. Doubled the distance it covers now – and super fast with the 802.11ac technology. No more stuttering. Love it!

TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router (V2)

The TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router (V2) may cost less than $100, but you'd never know it based on its performance and feature set. Its 2.4GHz and 5GHz throughput scores were better than similarly priced budget models, including the $90 Linksys EA6350 AC1200+ Dual-Band...

Affordable price; Very fast throughput performance; Easy to install; Lots of management settings

Clunky user interface; Middling file-transfer speeds; Only USB 2.0 ports

TP-Link Archer C7 Review: Decent Performance for a Low Price

TP-Link's Archer C7 delivers a lot of router for the money, with reasonable performance and the ability to connect peripherals.

Good 5-GHz performance for price; Two USB ports for connecting peripherals; On/Off switch for wireless transmissions; Parental controls for restricting Web surfing

USB ports use slower 2.0 spec; Subpar performance on the 2.4-GHz band

There has been a steady interest in TP-LINK's first attempt at an AC1750 class router, the Archer C7 , which we reviewed about a year ago. I suspect one reason is its sub-$100 price, which I think is the lowest of any AC1750 router.

TP-Link has been on a roll this year, releasing one new router after the other. The Archer C7 is their 802.11ac model. We tested it to find out how this AC1750 router fares against the more expensive routers from the competition. In terms of design, TP-Link has a clear idea of what it's going for.

TP-LINK AC1750 Dual Band Wireless Gigabit Router

What a great router! This has significantly increased my homes WIFI range! It far exceeds the newest router Verizon used (rented router). This is an investment (much cheaper than renting) & the range is superior. Also, the speed of connectivity is up to par. I have no complaints.

This is a very good router.

The product is of an excellent quality and inexpensive… very easy with installation and operations. It is better than the Verizon's router of the same characteristics, but is costs 2.5 times less. I recommend customers of Verizon's FIOS give back to Verizon their router and buy/use this router.
