This is a good value. The range is very good and it can handle a lot of devices. I have over 20 wireless devices connected to it.

Hands down the best router I've ever owned. I am tech savvy, I've had many routers. This one requires no special skills to setup. My grandma could do it (with me on the phone guiding her). I literally had this from opening the box to configured (dual wifi setup, password protected) in 5 minutes.
I really have enjoyed this router - simple setup and easy to connect all devices. My previous router was horrible and required constant resetting. I have had none of those issues with this one.
Just take a look at the price tag -- the Archer D7, an AC1750 router costs AU$169 in Australia. That's a $90 difference between that and its bigger brother, the Archer D9 . UK citizens don't get quite the same deal at £129 compared to £159, but it's still a substantial saving. The sacrifice?
Despite the drop in price; the Archer D7 still performs at the 5GHz end of town; and has nearly all the features of the D9
Options and web UI design aren't as advanced as competitors; and 2.4GHz performance isn't great
TP-Link recently released the Archer T8E, an AC1750 based PCI Express dual band wireless adapter, to complement its family of AC1750/AC1900 products. The T8E boasts the next generation WiFi standard (802.11ac) which is capable of delivering up to 1300Mbps when paired with another 802.11ac device...
We've been using an Asus RT-N66U for a couple of years with no complaints -- terrific coverage and max speeds from our Verizon Fios Internet service. Yet, all of the recent media hype over AC1750 caught my attention, and I decided to give the Archer C8 a try.
Easy To Set Up
Poor Signal Strength; Slow Connection Speed
I gave this a couple of months of operation before making a review. I have had no trouble with this device that required any customer service. That should actually be another pro. I have been very happy and for the price having a true dual radio router has been well received in my house.
Easy setup; stable; recovers well from power outages; good coverage on 2.4 gig channels
Low signal in 5 gig range through walls and greater than 50 feet away; I sometimes have to switch to 2.4 gig radio to get connected
At first I was hesitant to review the TP-LINK Archer C8 AC1750 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabit Router when chosen to do so due to my limited tech savvy. Surprisingly, I found the setup and connection to be both quick and painless, as easy directions were included with simple step by step instructions.
Over 4 times faster than the router supplied by my internet provider using either a LAN or a wireless network. I also bought the wireless adapter as part of the package for free. Unlock the full potential of your fibre broadband.
Easy set-up; simple instructions; cd installation disk
Up to 10 flashing lights can be a distraction
Completely rubbish, I already have tplink 741nd, I purchased this router in order to get stable bandwidth and good range, finally got the same poor connection and no inch range longer, I am returning this item
