Running perfectly

Not one reset during the 1st month. It does get warm, so 2 small bottle caps under the rear for elevation to help with heat dissipation. Very black horizontal surface is another chore on cleaning day. The previous very easy network set-up page is no longer working.

TP-Link Archer C5 AC1200

TP-Link AC1200 is a full featured router, well laid out and made easy to configure for even the most novice of users. Multiple features included for advance network specialists. The TP-Link Archer C5 AC1200 is well worth the price.

3 large external antenna; The body of the router is large yet very light weight; Clear green LED indicators on the front, for both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz bandwidths, 4 Ethernet ports, power, Internet, etc

Dual USB 2.0; wish they were USB 3.0

Had to patch it through a second router to be able to keep a stable wired connection and have a good wireless connection

This product provided a stronger signal than our previous 10 year old router. It still did not cover inside of our garage to be able to use our Chromecast audio. For some reason, it kept dropping the wired signal to our desktop.

Excellent router for any user

Recently I got the chance to review the TP Link Archer C5 AC1200 Wireless Dual-Band Gigabi Router. This is one of the best wireless routers I have ever used, and I've used many in my home. There are a few main qualities I always look for in a wireless router. First is ease of setup.

There's not a lot of buzz about AC1200 class routers these days. Prodded on by router marketeers, buyers are opting for bigger numbers on their router boxes along with (much) higher prices.
