Had to patch it through a second router to be able to keep a stable wired connection and have a good wireless connection

This product provided a stronger signal than our previous 10 year old router. It still did not cover inside of our garage to be able to use our Chromecast audio. For some reason, it kept dropping the wired signal to our desktop.

Running perfectly

Not one reset during the 1st month. It does get warm, so 2 small bottle caps under the rear for elevation to help with heat dissipation. Very black horizontal surface is another chore on cleaning day. The previous very easy network set-up page is no longer working.

Not as Strong as advertised

The Router does the job, however some devices drop connection, even when the device is in the same room as the router.

A much appreciated upgrade.

I'm thinking that there is a "user" problem with the other reviews on this site because, I have set up many routers from many manufacturers and this was one of the easiest!

Easy To Set Up; Fast; Secure

Not worth your money

I have a v2.0 version, which I purchased for almost $100 when I was in the US last year. when I moved to India, I got a tenda router+DSL mode, along with my airtel connection. The tenda is a fairly basic entry level product.

TP-Link Archer C5 V2 Review

The release of the new TP-Link Archer C5 V2 proves that manufacturers haven't completely abandoned the entry-level networking sector and that there is still a lot of focus towards the AC1200 routers, considering the fact that some people may not be easily persuaded to go for the higher numbers on...

Cool Design; Intuitive Interface; Average Wireless Performance

There's not a lot of buzz about AC1200 class routers these days. Prodded on by router marketeers, buyers are opting for bigger numbers on their router boxes along with (much) higher prices.

I have flashed DD-WRT to unlock the full potential of this device and I am very happy.

This device has completely revolutionised my home network. I get signal everywhere in my house and the LAN speeds over Ethernet are incredible. I have flashed DD-WRT to unlock the full potential of this device and I am very happy.
