TP-Link AC2300 Wireless MU-MIMO Gigabit Router (Archer C2300) Review

The TP-Link Archer C2300 ($149.99) is a moderately priced midrange router that offers solid close-range throughput performance and MU-MIMO data streaming. It also has robust antivirus and malware protection, Quality of Service options, and parental controls, and it is very easy to install and configure. However, its long-range throughput and file-transfer performance come up short compared with our Editors' Choice, the Asus RT-AC86U. Nice router, fast, stable connection. Did not have any issues so far. My smartphone reaches 115mps/23mps on 5G (with 100/20 fibre). Great features vs price.

Worked for a year and then I guess nature had it's way

Purchased this router in July of 2017. Worked great until a lightening storm last night (Sept 2018). Although it was plugged into a surge protector, their tech support told me it WAS NOT covered by the warranty. No other electronics plugged into the same surge protector were damaged.

Good range. Installed them on our first floor and covering our ground and second floor.
