The TP-Link AV2000 is working really well – had a bit of bother setting them up a first but then it all came right.

Needed an upgrade for my fairly ancient Solwise 500AV plugs which seemed to be suffering from degraded performance of late (interference) and had become a bottleneck, frequently dropping to just 30Mbps throughput.

This is an awesome device! I recently cut the cord and signed up with one of the streaming services. My router is upstairs and my smart tv is downstairs and this was causing an issue with the picture quality since the signal was not as strong as it needed to be.

I purchased two sets of these a couple of months ago. I setup one near my switch and the other in the entertainment center. It seemed to be working well but I felt like I wasn't really getting the high speeds I expected. I have gigablast service from Cox and streaming didn't seem to improve much.

I couldn't believe the speed that I achieved through this device. I even plugged it into a powerstrip and it worked flawlessly. I would recommend spending the extra money and get the passthrough plug.

the units work great however the AV2000 blocks the second outlet just enough to where a three prong power cord can not be inserted.

This product is great. I was considering running Ethernet cables to my bedrooms, where our WiFi signal is dismal, but instead decided to try a powerline network first. Boy am I glad I did - we get fast speeds to the rest of our home network.

Easy To Set Up

An excellent piece of equipment, well-built and expandable too. One suggestion to avoid a possible faint "buzz" creeping into sound systems via the mains would be to add a couple of inexpensive clip-on ferrite rings to these kits.

We have moved into a flat where Wifi from the router didn't reach – these TP-links are amazing in that I now get full speed internet for my TV and 2 computers as if they were hardwired in. Easy to set up. My only complaint is that they are large making the second plug unusable.
