We did lots of research and contacted TCL directly for additional advice before settling on this purchase to replace our old but great plasma tv. Really pleased with the picture and sound quality straight away but even more impressed with the menu to change settings depending on what we are watching. Will be more energy efficient than expected because we have only reconnected our Blu-ray player...previous peripherals to stream or share photos are built in or easily loaded. Thanks too to JBHIFI for a pleasant negotiation and arranging quick delivery (bought on Thursday night, delivered on Saturday morning)

Bought this 43" tv for the bedroom and overall happy with purchase. Picture quality is good (although recommend tweaking the settings to suit taste) and impressed with the 4k and Dolby vision. Google TV software is good but a little slow, which might frustrate people. Sound quality is also decent. Freeview also works well with the tv but again is a little slow. All the major streaming apps work well (Disney+, Netflix, prime, Stan) with all having dedicated buttons on the remote. Built in Chromecast is also very handy and works well. Given the price and performance I would say it's a perfect 2nd tv, but wouldn't want it to be my main tv due to the sluggish performance.

Pleasantly surprised - originally wanting to purchase comparable model of the Samsung QLED TV (none currently in stock) took a chance on this TCL and honestly, Exceeded my every expectation - streaming content through 4K Apple TV to use at full potential - saved $1100, thanks to the helpful JB staff! Even if you have a higher budget, I’d still recommend taking a chance on this one.

Tv is pretty good, only issues are when the screen is black there are 4 white blotches in each corner, sound is temperamental may need a soundbar

Amazing TV - especially for the price. The inbuilt speakers are surprisingly good.
