Super Mario Odyssey

Available exclusively on Nintendo Switch Nintendo has always been the best in the business at creating brilliantly creative open world and sandbox playgrounds. Placing its moustachioed mascot at the helm of its greatest titles, each new entry carries with it the greatest of expectations.

The best Mario has ever been; So many nods to the series' history; Hundreds of Power Moons to collect; Looks stunning; Phenomenal soundtrack

Some of Cappy's moves require motion controls

Super Mario Odyssey review – hats off to Nintendo

A joyful celebration – and evolution – of the Super Mario series, that encapsulates all the fun and creativity of video gaming at its very best.

Cappy is amazing, bringing a huge amount of variety and flexibility to the game's wonderfully designed sandbox environments; Mountains of content and perfect controls

Placement of moons can lead to some uneven pacing; Ugly cross-hatching effect on some objects

Super Mario Odyssey puts Mario back on top

Super Mario Odyssey is both the first proper Mario game on Switch (and no, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe doesn't count) and Nintendo's first fully 3D Mario adventure game since Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the Wii.

Absolutely gorgeous to look at and glorious to play, So; Much; Content, Never had so much fun with a photo mode before

Only the dedicated will see everything it has to offer

Super Mario Odyssey: catchup review

Is this the best Mario game ever? That's the question some people seem to be asking and we're here to tell you definitively that our opinion is yes, yes it very much is. There will always be a case for Galaxy or 64 to be given that title, and some of us might even go so far as to say Sunshine (hey,...

Super Mario Odyssey Switch Review

The release of the Switch has brought a Nintendo who is confident and actively out to prove why they are some of the best in the business. It is exciting to see Nintendo in this state, and that attitude is gushing into their current releases for the successful hybrid console .

Super Mario Odyssey

Whether as a moustachioed frog, tank, bullet or T-Rex, players will spend as much time inhabiting the bodies of their foes as the title character's trademark dungarees in Super Mario Odyssey .

Super Mario is Super yet again

I pre ordered this and wasn't disappointed I received a cap which resembles the one used by Mario in the game alongside the game which I plan to give to my nephew for Christmas the game itself is a fresh interpretation of the Mario franchise the levels so far seem clever in design and as it's 3D it...

Retro meets reality.

Brilliant game which made an excellent gift! A hard to put down game with a good level of nostalgia. Cleverly crafted game with the added bonus to play as classic Mario in the 3D world.
