Great entry level gaming mouse. The sensor can be a bit iffy at times. The mouse is very simple, with only two side buttons and a DPI switch button. The mouse is small, so it's more suited towards those with smaller hands.

There is a known problem with this mouse where one click will double click. It is infuriating. I bought one thinking it'd last at last a year before I ran into any trouble, but instead encountered this problem within a week. Returning.it.

I bought this along with a qck mouse pad and the mouse feels great with it , response and feel is great on it . great engine to dial it in and greatvcolor combos to make it to your liking .

If you like Dota 2, you will definitely like this mouse, like I did, plus you get an item for Doom. Its called Hell's Glare, looks very good on him.The best part about this mouse is the customization.

Light, comfortable, accurate, fancy glowy colors. If it's comfortable in your hand, there is no reason not to buy this.

I have large hands and use a finger tip grip; This is a big mouse and I love the feel of it in my hand; The rubber texture is nice and makes it very easy to pick it up during fast paced FPS games.

I had a couple of failures and had to exchange it for another one; Could have been a problem with my motherboard's USB port, but not sure

One of the best mice, and at such a low price. I play a lot of FPS and the mouse works great with them, also fits nicely in my hand and gives a smooth performance. The RGB illumination are a great visual touch too.

You can change lighting options,macros and button defaults and CPI steps to cycle through in the Steel series Software,but i really do not like the software and uninstalled it as the Rival 100 works fine without it. The Number of buttons are 6 but i use this mouse for cad and website design .

In terms of buttons, they feel solid.Side buttons are good too and Wheel click is smooth; Rival 100 is quite sturdy; Even the side grips have a high quality feeling to them; The Rival 100 works quite well set on 500 CPI I could also recommend use at 1000 CPI ,but none higher, which i wouldnt use...

Software; i had no use for; especially since i do not play the default games that is included in their software settings.So no way i am going to enable another start up item

Fast and responsive, cool lights.

It's good.. Lil bit heavier than my previous one Logitech G300 which I was using for like 3-4 years.. It's just lil bit heavier than my previous one. But yes once you get acquainted with Steelseries stuffs.. It's just cool.

While this mouse is good, it doesn't really feel comfortable in my hand, as some of the edges aren't as smooth as they look in the images.
