I got this to add to my Sony 400mm f2.8. It's a perfect fit. The lens still focuses quickly and before you know it you have an 800mm f5.6. You can program a button to go to crop sensor and then you have an image that looks even closer.

This tele works wonderfully with my 70-200 2.8 G. With the little bit of testing that I've done, there doesn't seem to be much (if any) image degradation caused by using this multiplier.
Consistent Output; Durable; Lightweight; Rugged; Strong Construction
I love it
Perfect extension of my eyes
Since 6 months now, I am using this teleconverter with the G Master FE 100-400mm super-telephoto zoom lens (SEL100400GM), mostly for wildlife photography. Converting that lens to 200-800mm range, it allows me to get close-up shots of small birds and animals that are quite far away.
