This might be my personal case but after my first use for about two weeks, I store it in the box until Christmas and the battery was dead, no more charge capability. Apart from this issue, it's a great value, excellent features, size, waterproof housing.

Sony's Action Cam range is pretty diverse, ranging from the entry-level AS20 all the way up to the 4K-capable X1000V. The HDR-AS50 sits just above the former, but it's still firmly at the cheaper end of the line-up.

Works good everything was intact. Easy phone setup. It does discount if you go far. Connecting was annoying. The code was on the inside of the battery case to the camera. The picture quality looks weird But looks nice in video mode. Don't get the bundle. Just get the camera. But bundle separate.

The HDR-AS50 I bought has lived up to all the expectations I had after reading many reviews. I was looking for a low cost quality action cam to take video of good quality. Mainly skiing and other cultural events in our locality. I am also very impressed with the quality of time lapse capture in 4k.

I've had this Sony Action Camera for about a week and use it motorcycling. Getting used to it, its options, and trying different mounts. I think I'm going to like it and the videos look pretty good. Over coming vibration is a challenge.

I only bought this a few days ago it's a ok action camera for it's money. You don't get any mounts except for one mount that only fits to the camera nothing else. Spent the last few day trying to buy mounts, can't get any, had to mod a Gopro mount.

So far good not good battery life though. Overall good video recording

Cruel camera with good image. Having used both for downhill skiing and diving (18 m). Completely hassle. The battery lasts a few hours of skiing. With the camera in the accompanying house sound disappears almost completely. Super good ...
