In the past week, Sony announced one of it's latest releases, the HDR-AS50 Action Cam. They've listened to the suggestions and complaints from consumers to create a top of the line, user-friendly, feature-rich action camera that's built for capturing quality footage on your most exciting adventures.

I bought this about a month ago and have used it ever since for holiday videos and vlogs.

So far good not good battery life though. Overall good video recording

Cruel camera with good image. Having used both for downhill skiing and diving (18 m). Completely hassle. The battery lasts a few hours of skiing. With the camera in the accompanying house sound disappears almost completely. Super good ...

This might be my personal case but after my first use for about two weeks, I store it in the box until Christmas and the battery was dead, no more charge capability. Apart from this issue, it's a great value, excellent features, size, waterproof housing.
