I've owned Canon DSLR's (my fallback workhorse), I've also owned an NEX5-N and an A6000, the previous Sony's although good always left me wanting to return to my Canon DSLR but the A6500 is a different beast. An amazing camera which can easily compare to much more expensive equipment.

The camera is really very good! Just I'm disappointed with the paint of the dial... I I used it just three times and the paint (white) of the dial start going out!

This great little camera is great for stealthy performance. But when I want strap on some accessories this Smallrig cage does the trick just fine.

Overall, this is a great camera body. It's my fourth Sony APS-C Mirrorless body (NEX-5N, NEX-6, A6000, A6500) and I'm really enjoying it. The body is very solid, and the performance is excellent. It's very fast, and I was able to configure it to do what I needed more easily than the previous models.

It's a great camera for a beginner or advanced photographer especially with the Sigma 16mm 1.4f lens it's incredible!

The camera is a powerhouse, clear images through iso 6400 and features galore. But the user guide needs work, it offers only basic information without detailing the ins and outs of the features and options.

I purchased this camera with the offer of ￡300 Sony cashback. The camera itself is great and a much need upgrade on my previous Sony camera but.... beware of the cashback bit. Easy to use. It will take some time to learn how to Handel it. I would recommend a basic class for first timers to dslr mirrorless style. Great starter camera and excellent for advanced photographers.
