Sony Alpha A6400 (18-135mm) Kit Black - Brand New review
The Sony a6400 is great for travel photography. It's relatively portable and well-built, with some weather-sealing for more peace of mind when shooting outdoors. Battery life is also quite good relative to other mirrorless cameras.
Pros:
- Excellent overall autofocus performance., Great photo quality., Sturdy, portable design.
Cons:
- Ergonomics are somewhat lacking., Interface isn't especially user-friendly.

Sony Alpha 6400 review: Complex camera with compact ease
Sony Alpha 6400 is a great video camera and not because it can shoot in 4K. Every camera does that now.

Feature packed camera, however....battery life
Purchased 3 weeks ago, haven't had any issues. It's a feature packed camera that is hard to beat for the price range. I'm sure you've researched all the features and capabilities it has. It's a good buy. My only gripe with this camera is the battery life. It's terrible.

Sony Alpha A6400 (18-135mm) Kit Black - Brand New review
It’s great that Sony has put the work in on the autofocus system for the A6400. It’s something that can really help photographers of all levels. Real-time Tracking aside, it’s not quite as fast or as reliable as the AF system in the Sony A9, but it’s very good, especially for a camera that is set to...

Superior image quality for its class, but there are some limitations
I'm still learning the menu system - it is vast and not all that intuitive to me, but it seems like the camera can do a lot. The few photos and videos that I have taken were pretty amazing.
Pros:
- Vast array of features
- small form factor
- front-facing LCD option
- decent wide angle zoom kit lens
- least overheating issues of any 6000-series camera
- amazing auto-focus prowess
- impressive enthusiast support
- class-leading image quality
- under $1000
Cons:
- Unintuitive menu structure
- too small to be entirely ergonomic
- complex LCD articulation that still doesn't serve as well as a flip-sideways design
- no real documentation (not even to the point of explaining the meaning of the many icons)
- awkward power zoom control
- lingering heat issues
- short...

Great City Camera
The Sony A6400 is a great camera for walking in the city to take pictures. I have walked 4 miles in the city taking pictures with it. Yes in the 90 degree heat in the city has gotten the camera got damp with me holding it close to my body, but it didn't get effected and the pictures at the 100,000...

If you have a 6500 and a 6300, should you upgrade to this one No. Because you are getting the same image quality. If you want a good and affordable second camera for your film projects or are looking to upgrade from a phone or just want to switch to the Sony system, sure give this camera a shot.

Besides getting used to the Sony Menu format, this camera is AMAAAAAAAAAZING (in my best Huel Howzer Voice). I've been a die hard Canon fan, but not anymore. I ordered the body by itself and then purchase it with Rokinon 12mm F2 manual lens and the Sony G Lens 18/105 F4. RAV power extra batteries.
