Sony a6400 Review (Review Sony a6400)
The Sony a6400 is a camera that straddles the line between consumer and enthusiast, delivering automatic operation for family snapshots with the image quality and speed aficionados love.
Pros:
- Compact build., 24MP APS-C image sensor., Quick, accurate autofocus., 11fps continuous drive., Large, sharp EVF., Selfie LCD., Built-in flash and hot shoe., 4K video without recording limit.
Cons:
- Omits in-body image stabilization., Flip-up screen not ideal for vloggers., Some operational frustrations., External charger not included., Only full-frame lenses are weather sealed., UHS-I card slot.

Finally something that I can move to from my DSLR
Love the size and weight. I had a a6000 but it couldn't match my DSLR for focus speed and tracking. Now, this is as good, maybe better. The usability of the bigger camera is still better due to the size, but this will be my new go to camera, especially for travel.

Fantastic camera with leading technology in focusing
This camera goes with me every where , its portable yet very powerfull , its dynamic range matches tho to Nikon d750 a professional camera , yet its focusing a million times faster .

Over the past 18 years of digital photography, I went from point and shoot digicams to a Nikon D40 to a Pentax Kr to a Sony NEX-5N and then a NEX-5T. I always liked my Sony NEX cameras, but the picture quality indoors and jpeg colors weren't exactly amazing.

Before I go any further, I want to let you know that I am a complete beginner. All my current knowledge comes from 1 month of heavy researching camera reviews, etc. So if you are interested in a newbie's perspective, here you have it: I initially wanted to get the Canon M50, since it was more...

Ordered this camera ahead of my vacation after reading the good reviews about it. When I got it, right out of the box, on my first attempt to take a picture I got a "Camera Error" message and camera froze.

Besides getting used to the Sony Menu format, this camera is AMAAAAAAAAAZING (in my best Huel Howzer Voice). I've been a die hard Canon fan, but not anymore. I ordered the body by itself and then purchase it with Rokinon 12mm F2 manual lens and the Sony G Lens 18/105 F4. RAV power extra batteries.

Superior image quality for its class, but there are some limitations
I'm still learning the menu system - it is vast and not all that intuitive to me, but it seems like the camera can do a lot. The few photos and videos that I have taken were pretty amazing.
Pros:
- Vast array of features
- small form factor
- front-facing LCD option
- decent wide angle zoom kit lens
- least overheating issues of any 6000-series camera
- amazing auto-focus prowess
- impressive enthusiast support
- class-leading image quality
- under $1000
Cons:
- Unintuitive menu structure
- too small to be entirely ergonomic
- complex LCD articulation that still doesn't serve as well as a flip-sideways design
- no real documentation (not even to the point of explaining the meaning of the many icons)
- awkward power zoom control
- lingering heat issues
- short...

Feature packed camera, however....battery life
Purchased 3 weeks ago, haven't had any issues. It's a feature packed camera that is hard to beat for the price range. I'm sure you've researched all the features and capabilities it has. It's a good buy. My only gripe with this camera is the battery life. It's terrible.
