Our old cooktop was definitively past its sell by date so we decided to upgrade and The Good Guys were my first and only choice to shop for a new one. Ian the sales guy was very helpful in showing us all the ones that were compatible with our granite surface and we chose the Smeg 60cm Classic as my wife and I really love their style. Ian recommended a great plumber to install it. The Black Ant Project were really quick and efficient in fitting the cooktop. A little granite had to be sliced away but this proved no problem and was done with little noise and no mess at the end.. Great job all round.

Easy to clean, functional grid pattern for the pot supports makes it very useful for placing other hot dishes. Diamond configuration means we can use two large pot/pans together and easily reach both.

Sales man didnt tell me to change it over to LPG that you nearly had to pull the whole thing apart to do it ..not a simple process .

First time i had Smeg gas cooktop, so happy with the cooktop & the price really good Recommend this product.

Lovely looking cooktop. Need some care with the stainless steel surface, so suggest a chat with Smeg Australia before initial use (warm soapy water for spills, along with dedicated stainless steel cleaner-). I've only been using it for a few weeks, but so far quite happy with it.
