Our new Smeg cooktop is now installed and working. I love the depress and turn igniter knobs. Probably would have preferred a larger conventional place to a second wok. Turning the gas up and down from boiling to medium, to simmer etc. does not flow through the range I am used to. Having said that, this is a very functional cooktop for the price paid. Iron work is easy to lift off to clean, and the deep inset design will be brilliant if liquids boil over.

Easy cleaning around the controls. You can actually get underneath to clean properly . Great control of gas from simmer to high. Although it would have been nice to be advised that a power point was required as part of the installation as my previous hot plates didnt require one.
