I fiddled around with my new BCC02 for a couple of days till satisfied I had it just so. My morning coffee's important to me & I've certainly got this machine making a great cup! Clever Italian design, much easier - therefore faster - than many other coffee machines when it comes to keeping it clean, & I love the way it does its own quick rinse through after use. Wish everything else in my kitchen did the same! Haha. So many other features to love - the smooth-gliding adjustable-height of the dispenser, the light, the simple, powerful (for a home machine) milk frother, the water hardness adjustment, the warning lights (eg.,telling you when to empty the used grounds), the ease of changing from one program to another,.... It's expensive, but if you can bide your time as I did until it goes on sale (or I guess even if you can't!), you won't regret your choice. :)

So easy to use and keep clean. I wanted an easy-to-use automatic coffee machine that makes great coffee. This Smeg machine ticks all the boxes.

Coming from a pod machine I feel so much better about not creating waste. We are now free to try any coffee we like. This machine makes all pod machines redundant and look dumb. I have seen a few other bean to cup machines and for me this one ticks most of the boxes. The grinder is quiet compared to other grinders. The foot print is comparatively small. The menu system is easy without the need for a screen. It makes great coffee! Better than any pod I have tried however I do have a few trivial complaints. The waste coffee puck system uses a counter to tell you when it needs emptying. When the light comes on it will disable the machine and it takes around 15seconds after you open the drawer to reset.(You cant just open the drawer and close it to reset it). I usually empty the tray and clean the machine every morning but the counter doesn't care. If the counter clicks over at 6am and you know the drawer is clean you still have to stand there waiting for the machine to decide when you can...

I like the compactness and light weight of the machine. Grinder very quiet. Overall machine simple to use and delivers a good cup of coffee.(If milk steamer was fully automatic the machine would be perfect for us . We are a busy couple that is short on time in the mornings.) The machine does not disappoint.

This machine is so easy to use and makes the best coffee. I use the same beans as in my old Smeg machine, but this machine make the coffee even better. I love it.
