The gameplay is fun with both thumb sticks being used to control both legs and a more precise movement(flicking the thumbstick harder makes the board flip faster etc.) but the game is just too bare. There’s no story mode, no real missions or progression system and no unlockables. And the overall map is just too small. Not worth the price.

There is no story mode or activities to do in the game you just go around a skate. One of the trophies you have to travel around for 40,000km which is 2500hrs

Skater XL is a great game to chuck on and just muck around! A great sense of realism in creating trick lines. My only complaint is there is no objective to the game it's simply a drop in and skate game with no real direction

Lots of bugs/glitches that should have been fixed before release. Game itself feels unfinished

I bought this game around 3 weeks ago for PS4, and it has been great ever since. Looking at others peoples comments, they look like they are just posting them 1 week after release. But I have been watching and playing this ever since 2018, and let me just say this. This game is hard, very hard, but I would say after 100+ hours, you will have really good fun. Now you may think thats a long time, but how long have you play Fortnite for? What about COD? 100 hours is not long. But I would highly recommend this game, after coming from the Skate Games, I couldn't go back.
