Been a loyal customer of John On Line for some years. Best and most wide selection of difficult parfumes and colognes unavailable in USA. Great service and warm & fuzzy, and soft & crunchy customer service.
Fabulous! Sensual and sexy. Lasts and lingers. More of an autumn or winter fragrance for warm dark evenings.
Ambre Sultan is my first Serge Lutens; a very warm and exotic scent. Top: amber and spices (oregano and bay in particular, how interesting! Slightly foody) Middle: amber and sandalwood (dense, robust, maybe a hint of play dough in a pleasant way) Base: amber and vanilla (after the exotic spicy first...
Launched: 2000 Group: Oriental INTRODUCTION After having reviewed a few generic and mainstream fragrances that were quite off the mark of what I expect to be great perfumery I had a craving for something genuine, solid and unpretentious so I picked up my my third and last Serge Lutens miniature (the...

Price; low projection
A decent fragrance from Serge Lutens. But certainly not the best. Recently, Serge Lutens has become one of my favourite perfume houses. This one is a really sweet amber incense smell with a hint of vanilla. I would definitely recommend you to sample it or try it before buying.
Some fragrances need to be well-tested over time to become classics. Guerlain Nahéma was an utter failure when first launched in 1979, but today its ripe, voluptuous accord of ylang-ylang, rose and sandalwood is considered archetypal.
This fragrance opens with a spice accord comprised of coriander, bay leaf and a dash of patchouli. It is warm and dry with a sweetish undertone due to the myrrh. As the fragrance progresses, the bay leaf becomes the dominant note, but thankfully myrrh softens the herbal-green qualities of the leaf.
I fell in love with this perfume from the first spray. It is a warm amber based oriental with mysterious herbal and benzoin notes. It is very long-lasting. Since I've had it everybody asks me what perfume I wear! So I'd definitely recommend it.
I always wanted to try Ambre Sultan but did not have a chance becuse it was so expensive. When I see on Ebay for this price I bought it immediately. I love it. I would recommend everyone this expensive smell for such an effordable price.
