Sennheiser has once again improved on their best wireless earbuds. Momentum True Wireless 3 is pure bliss.
Top-notch audio quality, with clear and open, yet entertaining sound. Good noise cancellling and excellent fit.
Lacks multi-point connection
New design, more features, and the same signature sound
Improved ANC, Smaller, sleeker design, Now with wireless charging
No multipoint (yet), Occasional bugs, Transparency mode lags competition
The third-generation of Sennheiser’s Momentum True Wireless earbuds are an upgrade in almost all areas. They are some of the best-sounding Bluetooth earbuds you can get, have good noise cancelling, great controls, good battery life and support for the latest aptX Adaptive audio format.
Pros: top sound, effective noise cancelling, good ambient sound mode, long battery life, very comfortable, optional wings for keeping them in place, aptX Adaptive support, full equaliser, pocketable case, cross-platform app.
Cons: expensive, waiting on updates for multi-point and sound customisation, case bigger than some of the best, calls can sound a bit robotic.
With great sound, solid noise cancellation and plenty of advanced features, the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds have a lot to offer.
Great noise cancellation, Excellent sound quality, Wireless charging
Bulky carry case, No multipoint Bluetooth (yet)
Don’t make a song and dance about it...
Poise, detail and fidelity to spare, Great noise-cancellation, especially where wind noise is concerned, Good touch-controls and great control app, Smaller and more comfortable than previously
No multi-point connectivity, ‘More affordable’ isn’t quite the same as ‘affordable’, Bass attack could be considered slightly tentative
The Momentum TW 3 are some of the best sounding wireless earbuds that I've tested — and, to be honest, there's not a lot to complain about. The sound quality and noise-cancellation are both top notch.
Super sound quality, Excellent new design and fit, Feature packed, Super sound quality, Excellent new design and fit, Feature packed
Still pretty expensive, Still pretty expensive
The Momentum True Wireless 3 refines Sennheiser's offering and results in a capable, tough and extremely appealing wireless earphone at a very keen...
Sound accurate yet entertaining, Well made and robust, Comfortable and easy to use
Some rivals have better bass, Noise cancelling good but not class leading, Call quality good rather than great
Earbud manufacturers typically try to compete with their larger competitors by delivering unique features or a lower price point. Sennheiser, on the other hand, has taken a more head-on approach against its main competition with the MOMENTUM True Wireless 3. The results are decidedly mixed.
Good sound quality, Qi wireless charging case, Solid battery life, Strong Bluetooth signal, IPX4 splash resistance
High price, Noise cancellation is mediocre, Touch controls are overly sensitive, No automatic ear detection
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 Earbuds needed to be really special to knock Sony and Apple off their pedestals. Did they succeed?
