Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 4 Headphones review
Can the Sennheiser Momentum 4 ANC Wireless Headphones dethrone the mighty Sony WH-1000XM5?
Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 4 Headphones review
An evolution of the old Momentum 3 design, the 4s offer a real plus in the 60 hour battery life and give something for other manufacturers to aim at. The on-ear controls are a delight to use and, there’s always that app if you feel so inclined.
Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 4 Headphones review
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless are some of the very best-sounding, longest-lasting and the most comfortable noise-cancelling headphones available. What they lack in the visual flair of their predecessors, they make up for in performance.- Pros: fantastic sound, effective noise-cancelling, 60-hour battery life, super-comfortable, Bluetooth 5.2 with aptX Adaptive and multipoint, USB-C charging and audio, 2.5/3.5mm analogue cable, great controls, top voice quality, good cross-platform app.
- Cons: expensive, don’t fold up as compact as the best, design less standout than predecessors.

Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 4 Headphones review
Every two years, Sennheiser updates its top over-ear model for the consumer market, the Momentum Wireless, with a new edition. Version 4, however, marks a watershed: The new Momentum 4 Wireless is not only the first Bluetooth over-ear under the aegis of Sonova Holding AG and Sennheiser’s licence (...
Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 4 Headphones review
I have always enjoyed Sennheiser headphones, not because they are the most accurate (except perhaps the HD 800S ) but because they make treble sound so sparkling and refined without overly harsh or sibilant.- Retains the strong bass and bright treble signature while boosting the upper midrange for better, New pinch-zoom gesture allows ANC adjustments on the headphones, Comfortable and easier to maintain compared to previous models
- Overall design lacks strong style, ANC not able to suppress as much upper frequency noises compared to Sony and Bose
Sennheiser Momentum Wireless 4 Headphones review
If you want effective noise cancelling headphones then take a look at the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless. Not only do they cut the world out almost entirely but they sound fantastic and the battery lasts for ages, there's barely any bad to say.- Energetic, powerful sound, Adaptive ANC, 60 hours of battery, fast charging
- Not great for exercise, EQ control could be more extensive
Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless Review
The Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless headphones deliver a wonderful audio experience and high-quality active noise cancellation at a fittingly high price. Sennheiser's Momentum 4 Wireless noise-cancelling headphones ($349.95) are a marked departure from past entrieswith a completely different look and a revamped app experience. They easily compete with the top-rated Sony WH-1000XM5 ($399.99) and Bose QuietComfort 45 ($329) in terms of audio quality, offering a bass-forward-but-balanced sound signature with excellent clarity. They don't quite offer the same class-leading active noise cancellation (ANC) as either of those models, but they're in the same ballpark at least. And although we like the app's features, we'd prefer more granular control than its streamlined EQ allows. These minor drawbacks aside, the Momentum 4 Wireless headphones are a worthy alternative to our favorites from Bose and Sony.Streamlined Design, Long Battery Life The Momentum 4 Wireless headphones are exceptionally comfortable even for long listening sessions. The earcups swivel to fit your head and ensure a tight, secure fit. You can choose between black or wh...- Excellent audio performance with robust bass, detailed highs
- Effective noise cancellation
- Strong Bluetooth codec support
- Handsome design with easy-to-operate on-ear controls
- Underwhelming in-app EQ
- App sometimes has trouble connecting to headphones
Sennheiser Momentum 4 review: understated, but excellent review
- Bold, detailed and enjoyable sound
- Epic battery life
- Predictably high standard of build and finish
- Could be sharper with bass
- Touch-controls are very eager
- Generic looks
