Purchased this after researching upgraded hard drives for a ps4. It works and has since install. Shipping wasn't terrible per se, arrived in a bubble wrap package with no defects in packaging.

None that I have come across yet; Will update with any as they occur 1.73 tb usable after device firmware (typical of storage devices

2TB on the built in drive was insufficient, so another 2TB was needed. I plugged it in, followed the prompts and it was working; so far happy with it.

When trying to copy 100GB of data onto the empty drive it did not succeed and a faint clicking noise was heard. Browsing the drive after the attempted copy showed failures. Purchase at your own risk.

2Tb Version I am old so my idea of an external harddrive is a clunky great thing with it's own power source that can be a tad temperamental. That said I have 2 Seagate drives (500Gb and 1Tb) that must be at least 7 years old and still work (when I can find their power cords) and a Western Digital...

Comes pre-formatted for windows but super easy to re format for Mac with the disc utility. Small lightweight reliable. Will Buy again for sure

I used many HDD for study and business but I wanted also one HDD for my business purpose. So I decided that I purchased medium size data storage HDD and I use for business and I used for only one day work. I searched that in many store and online for cheapest price.

Got this to replace a failed old WD usb drive that is used for time machine backups on a mac mini. This new drive is super silent and is running just fine the time machine backups.

Luckily I'm one for redundancy, otherwise I'd be even more disappointed. Seagate's OEM Software is useless. The warranty on the device is useless. RMA process is not even worth the effort as they hold the device for 6+ months. This drive is made cheaply, you can buy $5 enclosures of better quality.
