SanDisk Ultra 32GB Flash Drive

Flash drives have become as ubiquitous as cell phones, and the large number of them out in the wild has caused most distinguishing characteristics to melt away. Product Failure

Product worked until after the 30 day return period and then completely failed. Smartphone could not read it, computers could not read it, so it has been placed in the round file. Bought a new one from another manufacturer.

Deceptive advertising

This flash drive boasts "up to 4 times faster than USB 2.0" speed, but what they don't tell you, is that it only means the 'READ' speed! This thing is not ONE BIT faster on WRITE (copying files TO the device!) than any USB 2.0 device when using a USB 3.0 enabled plug.
Pros:
  • not excessively expensive
  • (less than 14 dollars
Cons:
  • very slow write speed even with usb 3.0

I loaded a number of files on the flash drive and the first time that I tried to review the files, I could not access the drive, then could not even erase and reformat the drive. Costco's return policy has been great.
Pros:
  • costco return policy
Cons:
  • flash drive failed
