Got this in early January 2016 for a 2008 Macbook. Cloned my internal drive to it then swapped it in. First boot up was slow but been nice and quick since - making the machine feel snappier.

works very good, my PC runs about 10+ time faster. coping 65 GB of data 50 minutes cool. very easy to replace the other laptop drive.

excellent product very fast compared to hdd . should be integral part of laptops and desktops . in future if prices drops would upgrade to higher gb drive. no heating fast boot and fast file transfer was impressed

It's fast for sure, but did not survive a firmware update: Became an unmountable boot volume. Can't even use it as a door stop! Sandisk was willing to replace, but they wanted the bad drive back. Not sending a drive back with all kinds of personal data & they keys to bank accounts and such!!

Lets start off speeds are good; use it for Games. The device feels a little plastic and flimsy but a great price for what you get.

Boot times are so much better now that I've got the operating system on the SSD. I've seen a huge difference in the load times on BF1 as well, which was my main reason for getting it. Definitely worth it for the price!
