SanDisk Extreme Pro & WD Black M.2 NVMe SSDs Review (1TB) – 3.4GB/s and 500K IOPS

It is not often that we review two separate SSDs within the same report, however this is a rather unique opportunity. Back in 2016, Western Digital acquired SanDisk in one of the largest flash memory purchases ever; a very rare occasion for a company to actually purchase a flash manufacturer.

SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Review

The pricing is what you'd expect for an SSD, but you're getting the form factor and usable space of 119GB. The casing is slimmer and uses capless design. The built quality and aluminum casing supports the premium pricing.

Performance; Performance~Storage; Built Quality and form factor

Difficulty to justify USB 3.0 drive considering the price is over a consumer grade 120GB SSD; Marketing performance numbers higher than actual; Vague ‘Lifetime warranty' Period

SanDisk Extreme Pro (480GB)

Not all solid-state drives are created equal. SSDs using cheaper NAND memory and controllers - value drives - focus on sequential speed as the headline-grabbing figures. Premium consumer drives exhibit similar out-of-the-box figures but, crucially, offer up much better long-term performance and...

Always Great Cards

I bought two of these to put into my GH5 for Wildlife and Landscape shooting trip to Montana. I am there right now and it is just gorgeous here in the Yellowstone area all the way up to Bozeman... with the exception of the haziness and smoking is caused by the wildfires from nearby states.

this is by far THE BEST, at least for my needs

Of all the Flash drives I've ever owned in the past, this is by far THE BEST, at least for my needs. As others have talked about this, I'm not going to go into too much detail on the speed of the device, I'll just say that it is the fastest USB 3.0 flash drive I've personally used, but I didn't run...

Sandisk Extreme Pro 480GB Review

It has has been around a year since we last looked at a Sandisk Solid State Drive – the Extreme II … their ultimate performance model at the time. Today we look at their latest flagship drive – the Extreme Pro.

10 year warranty; IOPS is strong; sequential performance; incompressible and compressible data

It isn't cheap by today's market pricing
