I love this watch for the functionality and size because I have small wrists. I love that it is waterproof. I am so disappointed that it cannot take calls! What a bummer. I returned the Fitbit watch for a similar reason. I answer and then run to find my phone. What a disappointment. :(

Watch - exactly what I wanted and expected, fantastic display and simple to use. Simple but great design, love the bezel. Headphones - gear design feels very substantial and well made, sound quality excellent great noise cancelling.

The good- (i) Looks alright. The bad: (i) The battery is shocking.. it's stated to be 3-4 days but the battery completely drains within 1.5-2 days of minimal usage. To the extent where I'd just glance at the watch to check the time a few times a day.

Great watch and more usable than the S3 being that it is waterproof for swimming purposes. Other than not being able to take / make calls direct from the watch, it has all the same functions as the s3.

Last year's Gear S3 was an outstanding smartwatch and we were particularly impressed by its whopping five-day battery life. This year Samsung hasn't replaced it or improved it; instead, the new Gear Sport slots into Samsung's smartwatch line-up just below the S3.

An everyday watch that looks and is smart. Works well in conjunction with gear app for iOS.

Very happy with the product. Highly Recommended. Syncs well with an iPhone. Battery lasts not more than 2 days, if you have the WiFi and other stuffs on.

Good: Good looks, not bulky, standard watch band mount, 3 days battery life (wifi off), durable (bumped around many times, no scratches). Sleep monitor works well. Notifications work quite well. Just OK: Workout detection works, most of the time. Need more apps.

Ultimately, the best comparison right now is the Fitbit Ionic. It too offers both fitness tracking and smartwatch features, and works with Android and iOS devices. Not surprisingly, the Ionic offers a deeper focus on fitness and more accurate results.
