Excellent daily gadget

Very happy with the product. Highly Recommended. Syncs well with an iPhone. Battery lasts not more than 2 days, if you have the WiFi and other stuffs on.

Not worth the money!

The good- (i) Looks alright. The bad: (i) The battery is shocking.. it's stated to be 3-4 days but the battery completely drains within 1.5-2 days of minimal usage. To the extent where I'd just glance at the watch to check the time a few times a day.

Great and easy to use

Really useful and functional. Very easy to pick up and use straight out of the box. Pairs with the phone quickly via the Samsung Wearables App. The customisable watch faces are excellent and allow you to make it your own.

Surprisingly more useful than I expected.

This watch was purchased as a gift for my girlfriend who typically dislikes technology however, after showing her some useful apps, and picking a watch face she loves, my girlfriend could easily be mistaken for having always loved technology where in fact she completed avoided it until recently.

Good smartwatch

Good: Good looks, not bulky, standard watch band mount, 3 days battery life (wifi off), durable (bumped around many times, no scratches). Sleep monitor works well. Notifications work quite well. Just OK: Workout detection works, most of the time. Need more apps.

I wish it'd do PODCASTS

This watch is pretty cool, it looks good and does what you'd expect a smartwatch to do. My only problem is I thought I'd get a full Spotify experience, that's not the case. It has no way to play podcasts, a huge letdown because that's what I want to listen to on my long runs.

Samsung Gear Sport smartwatch

ImageTagInstance gallery-77ccce8f-fb2c-4819-bd04-b0f8502da4a4 Samsung may be best known for its Galaxy smartphones, but its smartwatches are no less worthy of attention. Whether you’re an active individual in need of a fitness companion or a tech-savvy person who finds classic watches lacking in function, chances are the company’s Gear lineup has something that just might suit you. Something like the Samsung Gear Sport, for instance. It is the latest member in the series, and I spent a couple of weeks in its company to find out whether it is worth the $300 asking price. Let’s dive in.In the box:Samsung Gear Sport smartwatchCharging cradleWall charger with microUSB connectorSmall and large wristbandQuick start guideDesign ImageTagInstance gallery-d050a1c8-ebc1-4193-884d-f705ca3d03f1 The Samsung Gear Sport shares a lot of design DNA with the Gear S3 and the HTMLTagInstance html-tag-b615ccb8-c699-4c48-b3a9-7189042e8a42 Gear S2. Said briefly, it is a stylish piece of kit. The black version...

Bright and beautiful display; Comfortable to wear; Fast and responsive interface; Good battery life; Spotify with offline music support could be useful;

Not great for tracking actual sports; Vibration feedback could be better; Strap showing signs of wear only after 2 weeks of use;

Samsung Gear Sport review

In the smartwatch world, the Gear Sport is more of a reliable squad player rather than a star striker. It doesn’t have the apps of Android Wear, the fitness depth of the Garmin Forerunner series or the battery life of a Fitbit Ionic. On the other hand, its interface is one of the best you’ll find on any smartwatch and being an all-rounder never did the Apple Watch any harm. As long as you’re okay with getting a selection box of fitness and smartwatch elements, then it might well be wrist-puter for you. Still, if you’re not likely to go swimming, then we’d still recommend plumping for the Gear S3 Classic, which you can pick up for the same price.

Spinning bezel interface is excellent; Punchy screen; Versatile activity tracking; Swim-certified water resistance;

Claimed battery life is ambitious; Fewer apps than Wear or Apple Watch;

Samsung Gear Sport is swim-ready with Spotify

Fitness sells smartwatches. So say most players in wearables, Samsung included. The new Samsung Gear Sport pushes further into fitness, adding some features that were overdue. It's not the same set of upgrades that last year's Gear S3 smartwatch received, but they're important.

Samsung looks to make strides to beat the Apple Watch 2.
