OMG!

Loving the new Z Flip4!!! Not usually one to keep up with new technology, I'm still learning how to use it properly but really like the simplicity. Also great that it fits in your pocket

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (512GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

Everyone's favorite foldable got an incremental upgrade that turns out to be a huge upgrade!

Folds up pretty small, Pretty good battery life, $999 price tag, Incredible performance

Camera is still meh, Still has a crease in the display, Cover Screen could still use some improvements

While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (512GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 doesn’t change a lot, but improvements to battery life and camera performance address the main flaws of last year’s model and should help convince anyone on the fence. I still have my doubts about durability, but right now foldables don’t get better than this.

Fast, flagship performance, Impressive battery life, Great main camera, Fun design

Durability still a doubt, 25W charging is sluggish, No telephoto

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (512GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is a significant update from its predecessor. Critical systems and features have been improved, and the whole package came out great between the design, performance, battery life, and camera. Should a Z Flip 3 owner upgrade? If you can afford it, absolutely yes!

Excellent folding phone design, Great camera update close to the S22, Improved all-day battery life, Higher peak performance, Excellent folding phone design, Great camera update close to the S22, Improved all-day battery life, Higher peak performance

Volume button not easily accessible, Requires two hands at times, Could be too thick for very tight pants, Volume button not easily accessible, Requires two hands at times, Could be too thick for very tight pants

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (512GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

Samsung moved the needle in mobile design once again when they unveiled the original Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4. This new foldable take on the legacy flip phone took many by surprise and we questioned whether it was last.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (512GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 is a definite step up over Flip3

Reasonable one-day battery life, Excellent phone reception strength for city, suburbs, regional and rural use, The camera is good – not outstanding, The external screen is more useful now, Nice, colourful, and bright display

Throttles badly after four minutes, No mountable external SSD storage, The crease and two-handed opening may bother you, Mohs hardness 2 (out of 10) for the main screen – take extreme care, No charger inbox – bad Samsung

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (512GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

Battery life still problematic? With the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor and a bigger battery this time around, Samsung's smaller foldable hopes to solve the biggest issue with its predecessor: the poor battery life. Find out why this is only partly fixed for this new model in our review.

Beautiful OLED display, Great build quality, Waterproof foldable design, Good stereo speakers, A powerful SoC...

... with heavy throttling, Single-frequency GPS only, No improvement to the screen brightness, No WiFi 6E, USB 2.0, Hard-to-reach buttons

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (512GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is still a capable foldable a year after release, but with the newer Z Flip 5 offering better performance and a new large 3.4-inch cover display for the same price, the Flip 4 doesn’t feel as complete as it once did.

The best small phone around, Battery life improvements, Clever camera tricks, You want a small phone that stands out: The fact the Z Flip 4 folds in half makes it the smallest, most powerful phone on the market. If that’s what you want, this is a perfect choice.

Battery life still could be better, Cover Screen is good, but functionality is better on the Razr, MInimal upgrades over the previous model, You want long battery life: The endurance here is an improvement over the Flip 3, however, it’s still very much a phone that’ll only just make it to the end of...

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 5G (512GB, Graphite) AU - Pristine review

Skinny and streamlined clamshell takes aim at the mainstream

Streamlined design makes the most of that foldable screen, Cover display more useful than before, Stellar everyday performance

Camera versatility not as good as regular Galaxy line-up, Long-term durability an unknown, Is this really the best foldable form factor?
