Bought this 2 days ago registered to Vodafone Onenumber all activated and ready to go. I go on the wearable app and open mobile networks. What does it say? In short... 'NOT AVAILABLE IN YOUR REGION'. That is to confirm, THE UNITED KINGDOM. Paid nearly double for a function that doesn't work and when you call samsung they act oblivious to the situation. Im sending it back for a refund ppl save your time and money, it is a very nice device and I wouldnt mind the bluetooth version if it was stainless steel but MISS ME WITH THIS ONE! SAMSUNG MISSELLING THEIR PRODUCT. HOW EMBARRASSING.
Firstly, the strap which comes with this watch, and also every strap that Samsung offers for this watch are far too large for a petite/normal womens wrist. They only come in size M/L which is ridiculous for the amount of money I paid for the watch. Secondly, the wireless charger which comes with the watch is shockingly bad. It lasted 3 months before breaking, despite having no physical damage, and also only being kept in one safe location. I now have a dead watch. The reviews on this charger tell me I am not the only one who has had this issue. Fitness tracking is OK. Wouldnt recommend.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 is a solid smartwatch, but unless you want LTE connectivity, there's very little reason to buy it instead of saving some money on the original model.
Digital rotating bezel makes navigation easier; Available in two sizes; LTE connectivity
Inconsistent battery life and fitness accuracy in testing; Limited iOS compatibility; Thick bezel
The Active2 is one of the best you can get for those without iOS phones
Stylish; great display; comprehensive fitness tracking
Unimpressive battery life; app compatibility could be better; Unimpressive battery life; app compatibility could be better
I have been using the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 for about a week now, and it has accomplished something remarkable: it's made me decide to stop saying there are no good smartwatch options for Android users.
Touch-sensitive bezel; Offline Spotify; Decent battery life
Requires too many Samsung phone apps to work; Bixby; No good mapping solutions
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2's ECG and LTE bring it closer to the Apple Watch
Comprehensive and expansive exercise tracking; Stainless-steel version looks watch-like; Easy-to-read display in all lighting; Two-day battery with light usage; You can scroll Twitter on a watch
Still limited third-party app support; ECG monitoring still not live; Incremental performance over old model
This watch is the best looking smartwatch around. The Design is top notch and Tizen OS is great on a watch. Best: -Notifications on your wrist. Notifications are always available, you can leave your phone on silent and sill get important notifications. -Design.
If you’re looking for a round smartwatch that does fitness and core smartwatch features well in equal measures, the second-gen Active is one smartwatch worth checking out.
Familiar sporty look with two size options; Comfortable to wear day and night; Touch bezel works well; Easy-to-use software; Decent fitness-tracking features
Software a bit clunky for sports tracking; ECG and Fall Detection not available yet; Battery life only slightly improved; Underwhelming app support remains; LTE model bumps up the price
The trouble with releasing a follow-up device so soon after the first is there may not be too much to shout about
Looks great; Digital bezel works well; Fantastic screen
Battery life could be better; Samsung Health isn’t great; Some menu items are hard to find
