Samsung Galaxy Watch Series 4 Stainless R880 (42mm, Black) - BRAND NEW review

The design the watch works well as a formal and casual accessory for you day-to-day as majority of Samsung watches are. It works efficenciently with Samsung phones and allows view of certain notifications. But the sports version is the same build with same tech for a cheaper price.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Series 4 Stainless R880 (42mm, Silver) - BRAND NEW review

It’s a good question to ask. For me, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is closer to the Apple Watch though it’s not there yet. But I am fine with it because the Watch 4 is anyway not compatible with the iPhone.

Samsung Galaxy Watch4 (42MM, Silver) - Excellent review

While it's a shame that picture and sound quality haven't been upgraded, the iPhone 13 was great in these regards and the iPhone 14 is, too Excellent display Admirable headphone performance Solid build quality No upgrades to picture or sound Familiar design Notch is still present

Samsung Galaxy Watch Series 4 Stainless R880 (42mm, Silver) - BRAND NEW review

The Galaxy Watch 4 is finally here, acting less as an update to last year’s Samsung wearable and more as the first in a long line of next-generation smartwatches. Very few tech products this year have garnered quite the same level of anticipation as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4.

Wear OS at its finest, The digital bezel works like a charm, Flat, minimalist design is stunning, Gorgeous collection of original watch faces, If you want the best Apple Watch alternative: Samsung and Google have knocked it out of the park with the Galaxy Watch 4, setting a new bar for Android...

Still a lot of features yet to come, Doesn’t work with iPhone, Bixby is a mess, If you’re set with Apple: The Galaxy Watch 4 has zero functionality with Apple’s ecosystem, so if you’re an iPhone user then it’s better to steer clear.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Series 4 Stainless R880 (42mm, Silver) - BRAND NEW review

Whether you're looking for an all-singing, all-dancing smartwatch or just a smart-looking tracker, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series seemingly does it all. These watches are slimmer, more powerful and more affordable than their predecessors, giving Android phone users a compelling option to...

Accurate and very useful fitness tracking, Two-day battery, Water resistance, Convenient wireless charging, Fluid and customisable interface

Standard model design is quite plain, Touch interface not always intuitive, Feels more like Tizen than Wear OS

Samsung Galaxy Watch4 (42MM, Silver) - Excellent review

More like an iPhone 13S. The generational upgrades for the iPhone 14 are limited to a few subtle changes. At the same time, however, the base price climbs to 800 USD, while the only true innovation happens inside the iPhone 14 Pro series.

excellent OLED display, dust- and waterproof, fast Wi-Fi, wide range of supported frequencies, great camera, very fast performance, good battery life

display limited to 60 Hz, charging rate limited to 20 watts, no macro lens, wide notch

Samsung Galaxy Watch Series 4 Stainless R880 (42mm, Silver) - BRAND NEW review

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 will now gradually become for Samsung's ecosystem what the Apple Watch is for iPhone users.

Looks like and feels like a real watch, Nice and fast user interface based on the round dial, Comes with eSIM as well as lots of training functions and new health functions such as ECG and measurement of body composition.

Blood pressure measurement requires calibration using the correct cuff blood pressure monitor, Unlike its predecessor, it does not support the iPhone, and you only get full functionality if you use a Samsung Galaxy mobile.

The Galaxy Watch 4 is Samsung’s best smartwatch to date, but annoying restrictions mean it’s less appealing than it should be

Impressive performance; Access to more apps than before; Attractively priced;

Mediocre battery life; No ECG unless you have a Samsung phone; Doesn’t offer all Wear OS features;

Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic review

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic sees most of the best bits of the Galaxy Watch 3 grafted onto Google’s Wear OS software. Pretty much all the best new bits are down to Samsung not Google, even in the redesigned software. It lasts less long than the Galaxy Watch 3 off a charge, although you may have a better experience if you buy the larger 46mm version. So, is it a downgrade? No, we need to take a wider view here. Samsung’s top watches use Wear OS, soon Fitbit’s ones will too. As much as we like Samsung’s old Tizen software, it was never an apps and features powerhouse. The Galaxy Watch 4 Classic already has access to more apps, and the future of the platform looks brighter than ever. And, hey, even if Wear OS does end up heading nowhere all that exciting in the next couple of years, Samsung has already done enough to make this the number Apple Watch alternative. Particularly for Samsung phone owners.

Good fitness tracking; The best Wear OS watch to date; Retains plenty of Samsung flavour ;

Short battery life in 42mm version; Some interface quirks during exercise; Compatibility restrictions for non-Samsung phones;
