After spending a few weeks researching the new Samsung tablets, I am very happy that I went with the S8 Plus. I was deciding between this and the Ultra. The S8 Plus was definitely the better choice for me, as I was looking for a device that was bigger than my current tablet but one that could still be portable (e.g. can hold in hand with one hand, navigate with the other). The Ultra was going to be just too large to be comfortable. PB Tech were great also, with their well-stocked stores - even taking into account the current Covid situation. Absolutely love this tablet. Big screen and stunning photos from the camera. Highly recommended

Mostly pleased with the Galaxy S8 rablet. Graphics are really very good, particulalry in comparison with my old Galaxy Tab 4. Screen size is great as well. Performance is excellent so far but battery life is shorter than I was expecting. However, I don't see that as a reason for not buying one. I added the keyboard cover to my purchase and that just makes the unit even easier to use.

So far happy with this tablet for normal everyday use. Turning off is a bit tricky until you get the hang of it. We bought to use for navigation app on a boat and have so far been unable to buy a suitable outdoor protective case for this model. I was told the people who make cases can't keep up with all the new models. We only use via wifi or with GPS so can't say how it is with a Sim card in.
