My wife purchased this phone as an upgrade to her Motorola Razar. She likes this phone so much more than her last one. Overall the Galaxy S4 runs so much smoother. She has had some occasional slowness issues but overall great phone!
Easy To Set Up; Easy To Use; Large Clear LCD; Low Power Consumption
Slow At Times
So far the phone is great haven't had any problems. Love the s series from Samsung.
I am using S4 since 1 year . Till now I have not faced any issues . Best phone I have ever seen .
The Galaxy S4 does everything well: It contended for the top spot on nearly every test we threw at it. The S4 offers great battery life; in our Good Housekeeping Research Institute tests, it streamed video for 10 hours on its beautiful 5" HD display.
Great battery life; Excellent display quality; Good speaker quality; Easy to type on; Portable; Easy to read on; Easy to navigate
Subpar camera quality – did not perform well in low lighting
A brilliant smartphone from Samsung that from initial sales is looking to upset the market and outsell the Apple iPhone 5.
- Beautiful screen; - Very fast & powerful; - Great camera & features
- Not cheap
The S 4 is not the perfect phone, but it's a damn fine improvement over the S 3. I haven't even mentioned that Samsung now has a two-year water damage warranty which comes free with every S 4 – the phone really is your life companion and Samsung wants to ensure that nothing happens to it.
The much anticipated Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone has now been out for a couple of months. Here's where we find out whether the flagship Samsung phone is still head and shoulders above the rest of the Android market, or if other smartphone manufacturers have caught up.
It isn't often that I get to play with a phone or review one. I am not a phone reviewer, but a games reviewer. However, Phones4U sent me a Samsung Galaxy S4 before Christmas to play with and I thought it would be worth writing a few words about it – concentrating on the gaming aspects.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 features one of the best smartphone cameras we have seen so far. It combines very decent image quality with a simple but customizable camera app and a multitude of innovative features and modes. An optical image stabilization system would have been the icing on the cake, but it seems Samsung will make us wait at least another device generation for that. The Galaxy S4 is an easy recommendation for Android users on the lookout for a device with strong imaging capabilities.
Good exposure even in difficult lighting situations; Very good detail in bright light; Good flash performance; Quick and responsive operation; Very comprehensive imaging feature set; Excellent screen and decent ergonomics; Some customizability in camera app; Comprehensive Gallery app with selection feature; Fast shot-to-shot times and 3.5 fps continuous shooting; Useful voice control feature; Panorama mode capable of creating very large images; Efficient HDR-mode creates natural looking output; New Dual-Shot mode is fun to play with; Slow motion video mode;
Strong noise reduction leads to loss of detail in low light; Very slow shutter speeds in low light can result in camera shake; No control over image parameters such as sharpening or contrast; Access to key parameters such as exposure compensation or ISO could be better; Exposure can’t be linked to focus point; Sports Mode cannot be combined with burst shooting; No optical image stabilization; Inefficient digital image stabilization in video mode;
