Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra review: Samsung is nigh untouchable
I have finished my review of the Galaxy S23 Ultra for NextPit, and I have this to say: Samsung's flagship totally won me over despite its insolent price of $1,199. This is the magnum opus from the manufacturer and it will probably remain the best Android smartphone of the year.
Pros:
- Superb AMOLED QHD+ screen at 120 Hz refresh rate, Highly polished finish, Most versatile 200 MP camera module on the market, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 makes all the difference, Excellent battery life which is a feat for Samsung, 4 years of Android updates + 5 years of security updates, The integrated S Pen...
Cons:
- Nothing much new in One UI 5.1, Same design as last year, Archaic 45-watt charging speed

The new Samsung flagship comes at a price but it offers a lot, with dazzling performance and cameras that deliver in every situation.
Pros:
- Spectacular cameras, Smart, elegant design, Great battery life, Super-fast performance, Extra storage in base configuration
Cons:
- Pricey, Occasional camera issues, Charging is fast, but beaten by rivals

The only other critical factor Samsung may struggle with is upgrades, because it's a near impossible argument from last year's model to this one. Simply put, there is no conceivable reason beyond "owning the newest" to upgrade from the S22 Ultra to the S23 Ultra.
Pros:
- Great design, Massive feature set, Huge and versatile camera, Impressive performance, Fast 5G, Water resistant, Supports the S-Pen
Cons:
- The phone is so big, it may be unwieldy for some, Camera can be a little slow, Pen hasn't changed much, and this is more a spec bump update

Samsung's Galaxy S23 Ultra doesn't appear to be a big upgrade, but the sum of all of its incremental upgrades makes it a huge upgrade.
Pros:
- The 200MP camera is actually really good, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is impressive, Best display on a smartphone, so far, The curved display isn't very curved, Best battery life on a Galaxy flagship in quite some time, The One UI 5.1 upgrade is amazing, Feels great in the hand
Cons:
- Fairly expensive, with a MSRP of $1,199, Charging is still fairly slow compared to the competition, 100x Zoom is still not really all that useful

i had the note 10 plus to jump to s23 ultra is over all the best
