Samsung Galaxy S21+ Plus Dual SIM 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Phantom Violet) - BRAND NEW review

If you've read the full review, you would have noticed my positive attitude towards the Galaxy S21+. If you are neutral, then this is a modern, beautiful, speedy, and extremely capable smartphone with a decent array of cameras after taking the 3x zoom out of the equation (which turns out to be a...
Pros:
  • Brilliant 120 Hz display, Exynos 2100 chipset, Fresh design, Well-built, Great triple camera performance, OneUI 3.1 with long term updates
Cons:
  • Telephoto camera performance not up to par, No microSD memory card slot, 4,800 mAh battery life, S-Pen incompatibility, Simply too few innovations

Samsung Galaxy S21+ Plus 5G (128GB, Purple) AU - Pristine review

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S21+ might look very similar to the Galaxy S20+ on paper. However, Samsung has enhanced the user experience in every way, and it shows. The Galaxy S21+ has a sense of refinement that the Galaxy S20+ simply lacked.
Pros:
  • Excellent display, Great battery life, Competent camera
Cons:
  • Power adapter not bundled, Buggy software

Samsung Galaxy S21+ Plus Dual SIM 5G (8GB RAM, 128GB, Phantom Violet) - BRAND NEW review

I think the Galaxy S21+ is a good phone, a more polished version of the Galaxy S20+. If you are planning to upgrade from the Galaxy S20 to the Galaxy S21+, keep using your current phone for another year or so. But if you are coming from the Galaxy S9 or S10, the Galaxy S21+ will surely impress you.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus review

The Galaxy S21 Plus is a superb phone on its own merits, but it offers little that you don't get with the regular, and cheaper, Galaxy S21, apart from its larger screen. But if screen size is a deal-breaker for you, and you're happy to pay a bit more for the extra real estate, then you'll be plenty satisfied with the middle sibling in the S21 family.
Pros:
  • Gorgeous new design
  • Great performance
  • Powerful camera
Cons:
  • No microSD support
  • Expensive
  • No charger in the box

Samsung Galaxy S21+ Plus 5G (128GB, Purple) AU - Pristine review

Samsung Galaxy S21 + 5G is an excellent mobile that is hard to love.
Pros:
  • Good camera with creative possibilities. Razor-sharp and bright screen with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, combined with nice design and extremely high performance.
Cons:
  • Supplied without charger and the screen resolution is too low considering the large screen size.

Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus Review

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is a great Android phone with one of the best screens available right now. The only notable downside is that it doesn't offer a significant upgrade on last year’s S20 Plus, making it a hard sell for those who have bought a new handset in the past few years.
Pros:
  • Variable refresh rate screen is one of the best on the market
  • Reliable camera for casual users
  • Solid gaming performance
  • Decent build quality
Cons:
  • Not a huge upgrade on the Galaxy S20
  • Exynos version offers average battery life

Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus review

The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus is likely all the 2021 flagship you'll need, offering great performance, improved battery life and a premium design, but with a downgrade in the display department and minor camera upgrades, S20 Plus owners may want to stay away.
Pros:
  • Premium design
  • Huge improvements to Exynos performance
  • Lower starting price
Cons:
  • Very similar to the Galaxy S21
  • Some downgrades compared to S20 Plus
  • No charger in the box
