Samsung Galaxy Note 9 review: Power packed flagship upgrade
Now, if you already own the older Galaxy Note 8 and you do not intend to use Samsung Dex at all then you can skip the Galaxy Note 9. Alternatively, if you don’t want DeX and not sure of what exactly you will do with the stylus then you can opt for the older Galaxy Note 8 which is available for a...
Samsung Galaxy Note 9
The Samsung Note 9 with its Exynos 9810 processor, 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage feels like old wine in an old bottle, with just a new label- Impressive battery life
- Great camera
- Class-leading display
- Not much of an upgrade from Note 8

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 review
It's fair to say that you have to dig a little deeper than surface level to really appreciate the Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s charms. The Bluetooth S-Pen, 1TB of storage and much-improved speakers aren’t features you’ll necessarily appreciate properly off a spec list in the local phone shop, but start using them, and their benefits become clear. Ultimately though, this is a enriched take on the Note 8 - an S9+ on steroids if you will - rather than something that feels brand new. But when those phones were pretty great in the first place, it's hard to complain too much. We say too much, because given the Note 9’s battery capacity, its real-world stamina could, and should, be a little better. And that dulls its shine, just a bit.- Great screen
- Top-notch performance
- Better than ever S-Pen
- Superb cameras
- Battery life is only ok for its size
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 review: The best never felt so bland
If you want pure power and performance, the Galaxy Note 9 is the best Android phone you can buy, but it's expensive and not very exciting.- Great screen
- great specs
- great camera
- S Pen has some cool new tricks
- Giant battery means it'll last through most days
- It's expensive
- It still runs Android Oreo and probably will for a while
- Bixby isn't as good as Google Assistant and you can't turn off the button...
Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Making phablets exciting again
Samsung is bringing the fight to Apple, and the Galaxy Note 9 is a top-tier phablet worthy of recognition- Long-lasting battery life
- Excellent low-light camera performance
- New S Pen improvements
- Very expensive
- Little on offer to warrant an upgrade
Samsung Galaxy Note9
Samsung's phones, with the exception of the Note 7, have grown better pretty consistently.- Glamorous design
- Outstanding camera
- Wireless charging
- Fast processor
- Great battery life
- Useful S Pen
- Pricey
- Too big for some hands
- Not everyone needs a stylus
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has a few incremental upgrades that may not be impressive for everyone. Sure, the new S Pen is neat and it has a bigger battery, but will it be enough for anyone to upgrade It performs fairly well aside from a few overheating issues.
- Good Battery Life
- Incredible Camera
- Acceptable Performance
- Cool S Pen Features
- Superb Display
- Massive Storage (Expandable to 1TB
- Annoying Bixby Button
- Depleting Battery Health
- Expensive
- Incremental Upgrades
