The Galaxy 51 is the latest mid-range smartphone from Samsung, launched in December, 2019. The phone was announced along with the Galaxy A71 , and came as the successor of the A50 launched earlier this year .

2019 was a landmark year for Samsung and not only did the South Korean smartphone giant introduce the world to its clean and streamlined One UI but it also doubled-down and revamped the faltering A Series.

The Samsung Galaxy A51 is a good, solid mid-range effort. There are no major flaws, but the processor and battery weren't quite as good as we'd been expecting.

Battery life is decent too, and power is respectable. The plastic build is a disappointment, and there are some unsurprising omissions such as waterproofing and wireless charging, but these are small complaints.

Samsung's Galaxy A51 is another mid-range device that has hardly any real weaknesses. Its cameras are one of its highlights - although the gap to the high-end is still noticeable, for example when it comes to low-light performance or zooming.

Others may offer stronger performance, battery life and camera results, but the Galaxy A51 is bursting with great features and excels for movies and music
